Paul Guardia

Software & Systems Developer

Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

I believe the purpose of technology is to improve the human condition.

I'm Paul Guardia, a software systems developer, UX strategist, and co-founder of Parallax AI. I build software, AI systems, and digital products that simplify complexity, respect the people who use them, and help organizations solve meaningful problems.

My career began in design with a Bachelor of Design from NSCAD University, but curiosity led me deeper into software engineering, systems architecture, and artificial intelligence. Today, I work at the intersection of design and engineering, helping organizations bridge the gap between human needs and technical complexity.

As I continue my Computer Science studies at Dalhousie University, my focus is on the future of computing, from AI and machine learning to emerging hardware and intelligent systems. My goal is to help build technologies that advance science, improve lives, and expand what people are capable of.
